Dear Educators, Friends, and New Visitors,
The name Dr. Bonnie Davis chose for her work isn’t just a catchy title – it describes the essence of what she does and what she inspires others to do. Educating for Change is in constant motion, moving in new directions, expanding mission and meaning as the needs of children and educators, administrators and schools expand in an ever changing social and educational climate. We welcome you to our website and are pleased to give you a preview of our fresh look, new features, and new faces.
In an effort to accommodate the many requests Bonnie receives for workshops, speaking engagements, and presentations, I will be assisting with schedules, book sales, and public relations matters. I have worked with Bonnie behind the scenes for several years, and will be a more visible presence in the coming months, managing many of the day to day operations from our St. Louis office.
Bonnie will continue to write her regular email newsletter. I will be editing the website, increasing the content and including timely news and resources for practical use.
Also joining Educating for Change are two talented and dedicated educators who have been featured in Bonnie’s book, How to Coach Teachers Who Don’t Think Like You. Nan Starling and Mary Kim Schreck will be available to present the strategies and philosophies developed through the Educating for Change models. Learn more about Nan and Mary Kim by clicking the link to our cadre of change in the left margin.
Some new and improved features of our website are:
As always, please visit often. Share with friends and colleagues. Our goal is to build a community of educators dedicated to Educating for Change.
Best regards,
Kim Anderson Assistant to Dr. Davis and Public Relations Specialist
